9시경 양수리에서 정일영 이태량과 함께 출발하다.
오후 1시경 철암 신토불이에 도착, 곧이어 김연아 박종성 그리고 철암에 있던 이강우와 합류하여 점심을 하다.
2시-5시
주민 윤양희집에서 태백교육공동체회원과 만나다.
다음과 같은 내용을 이야기하다.
1 태백대안학교준비문제
2 초등학교시각문화교육(3월부터)

전차동 고깃집문제(철암역 갤러리에 전시중인 이수학소장의 안)를 버들골에서 시작하면 어떠하겠느냐는 제안을 하다.
1 시설장소는 버들골과 금강골사이
2 시설물은 간단한 조립식 공간
고깃집은 문화공간을 겸하는 방향으로 문화원관계자 및 관광대교수와의 의견교환도 있었다고 한다.

철암 and its surroundings seem to evoke sensibilities of calm and reflection, a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city(서울). These characteristics have a luring quality that may have attracted members of Halartec from the outset. From my understanding, the mission of Halartec may encompass two main objectives; viewing 철암 as the subject for their own art but also to introduce a certain artistic infrastructure into a community that maybe lacking of it. Travelling to 철암 only for the second time, I seem to return to the question of what the artist’s role is in society. The artists has the responsibility to their own work to seek truth but when the role broadens to incorporate practical programs, how much society trusts the artist to implement and proceed with such programs.
